The Model S10SB is a remarkable new, wide wavelength range scanning spectrophotometer with unique specifications at an unbeatable price. The S10V optical system is a unique Ebert monochromator employing a holographic 1200g / mm diffraction grating providing a useable wavelength range of 190nm-1100nm. This highly efficient design ensures excellent throughput, very low stray light and a resolution that is comparable to instruments costing three times as much. The sample compartment is based around a programmable five position cuvette holder with provision for either single cell or multi cell operation All parameters including cell position are automatically controlled by the on board Intel microprocessor or if required may be externally programmed by an optional PC. Powerful software is available for PC based applications

Computer controlled

The on board Intel processor and optional PC also provide for a unique range of features rarely seen in such a compact instrument. These features include an integrated 19 key soft touch key board with a multi character back lit LCD display of parameters.

A dedicated software package facilitates spectral storage and display, also spectra reprocessing and editing. In addition the system provides up to the 4th power derivation, spectral data display, smoothing, time scan, as well as external kinetic scan. In fact just about anything that a modern laboratory could wish for. When required the S10SB can be used as a stand alone or process type spectrophotometer capable of measuring ABS, %T as well as energy and many other facilities are included as standard. Non PC operation is usually with an 80 column graphics printer.
